Home turf, more or less. This is the continent I know best, Belgium above all, but Europe never really runs out of surprises even when you think you’ve covered it. Just outside Poland and Lithuania sits Kaliningrad, a fragment of Russia cut off from the rest of it, a reminder that borders here can be just as strange as anywhere else in the world.
I’ve made it to nearly every country on the continent at this point, with only a handful left to close out the list.
