I keep this as a living log of aircraft I’ve actually flown, spanning 117 types and variants across 27 manufacturers. It runs the gamut from classics (DC-3, Ju-52, Il-18) and Soviet legends (Il-62/96, Tu-134/154/204, Yak-42) to oddballs and rarities like the 747SP, MD-11, Dash-7, An-2 biplane, Dornier 328JET, Xian MA60, and Sukhoi Superjet 100. On the other end are the modern widebodies, A350-1000, 787-10, and the double-deck A380, plus plenty of everyday workhorses (A320 family, 737 Classics/NG/MAX). I’ve even mixed in a few GA and utility rides like the PA-28 Cherokee, C208 Grand Caravan, and a hop in an AS350 helicopter.
How I count it: each line is a distinct type or major variant I’ve flown (so a 737-300 and a 737-800 both make the cut, the 747-400M “combi” gets its own line). The code in parentheses is the standard IATA aircraft type code. Sightseeing hops and positioning flights are in, simulators aren’t. The list updates as I go, part travel diary, part AvGeek checklist.
